Shoot-to-reset targets are already being used by British field target shooters, so the mechanism's been tested and shown to be reliable. Most field targets have reset strings, so this is an improvement over the stringed ones that have been used for decades.
Field targets can help you hone your shooting skills. If you start off with the largest kill zone, which is 1.50", and then use the reducers as you get better and better, you'll become a better marksman and start beating the competition.
Because the target is metal, make sure everyone in the area wears safety glasses since pellets can ricochet. Be sure to also remove all pets from the area to prevent injury from ricochets.
